The latest update to the Google Android mobile system has been made available for Pixel and Nexus smartphones some time ago.
No wonder that only for them. In the end, Google likes to reward only its own products. On the other hand, we have the highest probability that the system will work optimally. If something works wrong right there, then something bad will happen also on other mobiles.
Android 7.1.2 Nougat has been officially released for Pixel and the latest Nexus.
This update does not introduce new features, it is like a patch. Although it is not a hoax, it turned out that Google missed some shortcomings and released a defective system. Many users point to the fact that the fingerprint reader does not operate after the update. This is not a problem. In some cases, the problem with a fingerprint reader may imply the inability to get into your system. Americans have not yet made a statement on this issue. Users believe that Google is already working on a patch which will fix this bug.
This issue applies to all smartphones equipped with a fingerprint scanner under the Google brand.
For those who do not know Google brand well, they own models such as Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X. The fact is that all these smartphones use the same reader. Thanks to this diagnosis is very simple and especially long it did not have to wonder why the reader does not work. The update makes the system not authorize the scanner, although gestures are still supported. The worst part is that the removal of previously saved prototypes and the restoration of factory settings do not help.
Errors occur to anyone and the people who creates the software know this.
Unfortunately, those who do not make this, think that they should always get the software without any complications. Sometimes it can not be done and such errors as this make Android users seem less and less involved in software development. I do not think so. I think that Google may have inadequate testers. However, every good company know how to learn from this kind of mistakes. So for now, I hope that these errors will occur less, and the problem with the reader will be patched as soon as possible.
