Generally, we are accustomed to that, we get gifts when we celebrate our birthday However, in the case of the birth of IT companies, including game producers and electronics stores, the situation looks different. In this case, the celebrating company distributes gifts. Usually on such occasions we can expect to download for free a few classic games. This time Ubisoft pushed the boat and gave the players one of their biggest hits, i.e. Assassin’s Creed 3.

Ubisoft is celebrating this year their 30th anniversary and on this occasion they have given us for free titles such as Beyond Good & Evil, The Crew, Rayman Origins, Prince of Persia: The Sand of Time, Splinter Cell and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. All these games were available for free on the PC platform to download via Uplay platform.

Assassin’s Creed 3 will be downloadable for free for a month, i.e. until 7th January 2017.

If you want to download this game, you can simply run the Uplay application or register at the event via the site. It is true that the game is available to download for free for a limited time, but once you do this, then it will be assigned to your account for life. If you count on a pleasant evening, you may be little disappointed. Players from around the world rushed like vultures for the occasion and the Ubisoft servers are overloaded. On many forums, players complain about the 502 Bad Gateway messages. Even if you have no desire to play Assassin’s Creed 3 now, you can always add this game to your Uplay account without downloading and installing. It is a shame that such a great promotional campaign missed console players. However, I am aware that Ubisoft would have to coordinate such kind of action with Sony and Microsoft. From technical point of view, this could be very hard to do.
