Community Day events organized by Niantic are already a tradition. Players Pokemon Go every month have the opportunity to catch common creatures that are not very common in the game. Recently it was Eevee. However, on September 22, you will be able to catch a large amount of a Grass-type Pokemon, which is Chikorita. By the way, we got to know the dates of two more events.

Chikorita is a Grass-type starter from the second generation. The first evolution to Bayleef requires 25 candies, and the final form (Meganium) needs additional 100. However, starters from particular generations are quite rare to meet in wild in Pokemon Go. Therefore, Niantic prepares an event from time to time, in which it increases their occurrence. Therefore, the September Community Day will be a good opportunity to supplement a Pokedex and gain a large amount of experience points. Niantic reported that during the 3-hour window, the game will grant three times the amount of EXP for each caught Pokemon. People who have not yet reached level 40, will certainly appreciate this gesture and obtain from Lucky Egg, which additionaly doubles receiver exp points.

Another Community Day is scheduled on September 22

Pokemon Go trainers, who counted on the next weekend’s Community Day, will be disappointed. Niantic returns to one-day events that will last only 3 hours. In addition, only in this time window you will be able to use the bonus in the form of a unique attack. Each Bayleef evolved in Meganium during the 3-hour window will know the unique movement. For now, we do not know what kind of attack it is, Niantic will announce it later. The nearest Community Day, which will take place on September 22, will take place from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. UTC (GMT +0)

Subsequent events of this type are scheduled on Sunday, October 21 and Saturday, November 10. Subsequently, Niantic will indicate what bonuses will apply during these events and which Pokemon will be awarded, and its occurrence will be increased.
