HMD Global a year ago presented us a refreshed version of Nokia 3310, which has recently been released the third edition. At first the Nokia 3310 only supported 2G GSM networks, later the model from 3G showed up, and recently we heard about the 4G LTE version. However, refreshed Nokia 8110 is to appear immediately in the 4G version. According to the rumours published today, the new phone will be presented by HMD Global tomorrow.

Nokia 8110 is a phone from 1996, which is very popular due to the Matrix movie. No wonder that the marketing specialists at HMD Global chose to refresh this model. Last year’s success of Nokia 3310 shows that playing on the emotions of customers pays off. Fortunately, the Finns have done their homework and this time they will release the model equipped with the 4G LTE modem. Most likely, the new Nokia 8110 will have the YunOS operating system, which is a kind of Android branch designed for devices with poor specifications.

Nokia 8110 4G is expected to appear on the market in May this year

Graphics that leaked to the network suggest that the new classic from HMD Global will cost 79 Euros (i.e. about 6 300 INR). In addition, it is said that the Nokia 8110 has a removable battery with a capacity of 1 200 mAh and support 802.11n Wi-Fi networks. Fortunately, we do not have to wait too long to confirm these rumours. HMD Global will present its new products at MWC 2018 tomorrow.
