I bet that you have heard about problem with batteries in Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones. Unfortunately, the problem is not short battery life time, this is a much more serious problem. Samsung has bought batteries from 3rd party supplier and they were damaged. This is at least 35 confirmed reports about Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones getting fire!

In most cases, a smartphone was the only victim. However, recently Samsung Galaxy Note 7 destroyed a jeep car in United States! The owner of the newest flagship smartphone has left the mobile inside car when it was charging. Unfortunately, it finished badly. According to the Samsung’s explanation, the fire occurs when the faulty battery overheats. It may happen when the smartphone is being charged or heavy used.

India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation banned usage of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones.

The smiler decision was done by FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) in United Stated and by three airlines in Australia. I am not surprised that it is not allowed to use Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on board the aircraft. The fire can come up when a smartphone is being charged from a power bank or during the game. Because of this issue, Samsung has not yet released Galaxy Note 7 model in India. However, some people could already import this smartphone model from other country (e.g. China). Of course, you can have your Samsung Galaxy Note 7 turned off in your pocket. Fortunately, I have also good information for those of you who dream about the newest flagship smartphone from Samsung and already pre-ordered this model.
