Nokia 7 Plus is one of the smartphones that can be presented at the forthcoming MWC 2018. HMD Global has already promised that they are going to show something special, but so far we have not dealt with too many leaks on this topic. Meanwhile, the results of tests of a mysterious device called Nokia 7 Plus appeared in the GeekBench benchmark database. This is not a performance demon, but we must remember that the new Nokia mobiles are very popular because they are typical affordable mid-range smartphones.

GeekBench benchmark database is a trusted source of leaks. We find in it the results of tests performed on existing smartphones along with the technical specification of the device. At the same time we usually deal with entries containing device code names. However, in this case, the full commercial name of the smartphone appeared, i.e. HMD Global Nokia 7 plus.

Nokia 7 Plus will be a mid-range smartphone with Snapdragon 660

Currently, many manufacturers of mobile devices use a procedure consisting in offering two devices similar to each other, one of which has the Plus in the name. This usually translates into a larger display, a better camera and a larger capacity battery to compensate for the higher demand for electricity. Nokia 7 Plus from Nokia 7 will differ slightly faster processor (Snapdragon 660 instead of Snapdragon 630) and the operating system, which will be of course Android Oreo, but in version 8.0. It is a pity that it will not be available for some time version 8.1. The amount of RAM remains unchanged, i.e. it will be 4 GB. At the same time, a variant with 6 GB of RAM will probably appear. Unfortunately, this is all what we know about the new Nokia, the rest remains in the sphere of conjecture.
