Smartphones from the OnePlus series were once referred to as the flagship killers. Despite the fact that this has changed recently, their manufacturer has nothing to complain about the lack of customers. Sales results are growing all the time, and the entire OnePlus 5 series has already been sold out. This year we can also have a little surprise in the form of an earlier premiere of OnePlus 6.

Both OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 5 (there was no model with the number 4, because it is associated with death in China) appeared on the market in June. That is why everybody expected that OnePlus 6 will be also released in the same month. Especially that the OnePlus 5T model appeared quite recently. Therefore, the information about the fact that the next model from a Chinese producer is expected to appear already in March next year is quite surprising. You can see that OnePlus has ambitions for direct competition with other flagships, which will appear on the market in the first quarter of next year. Every year, new models from Samsung, Sony, LG and others appear in this period. However, this time the Chinese have prepared something new.

OnePlus 6 may have a fingerprint reader under the OLED screen.

Yes, we know. Vivo will be a company which will present the world’s first smartphone with the Synaptics Clear ID FS9500 sensor. However, Vivo and OnePlus (as well as Oppo) belong to BBK Electronics. Therefore, it is quite likely that this year’s flagship from these three companies will be equipped with new technology. Admittedly, this is a reason enough to speed up the premiere. It is speculated that the OnePlus 6 will be a typical bezel free 6-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 is obviously the “driving” unit. Rather, there is no reason to expect major changes compared to last year’s models. A faster processor and potentially revolutionary fingerprint reader may be enough for the Chinese to beat another sales record.
