Xiaomi Mi Max is a giant 6.44-inch phablet from this well known Chinese smartphone manufacturer. A month ago, it was a possibility to pre-order this phone, but the prices were very high. How will it look after the official premiere in India?

Just a reminder, Xiaomi Mi Max is available in 3 versions with different amount of internal storage (32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB) and RAM (3 GB and 4GB). However, the most powerful model with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage has also Snapdragon 652 (Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 and Quad-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A72) chip instead of Snapdragon 650 (Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 and Dual-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A72). You can familiarize yourself with the full specification in the previous post. Here you have also Indian prices:

  • 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage version: Rs. 14 999
  • 4 GB RAM, 128 GB internal storage version: Rs. 19 999

As you can see, the medium version (i.e. with 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage) is not available in India. Also, very suppressing is the fact that these prices are very almost the same as in China 🙂

The open sale starts on July 6th.
